Beware of Psychic Scams
I am proud of my psychic abilities and my honesty when working with my clients and will never misguide or mislead anyone who contacts me for a reading, be it as a psychic or medium. Not all individuals claiming to be psychics, however, are honest. You should always check any site you visit carefully and ask questions before you commit your hard-earned money to a consultation.
I’ve put together a few “warning signs” you should watch for that should set off alarm bells when you are considering a psychic consultation. If you encounter any of these situations, think long and hard before moving forward:
References to curses or dark energy
If you find a psychic or medium saying you have dark energy around you or someone close to you has bad energy and must be "cleansed," run the other way immediately. By the same token, if someone says you or a loved one has a "curse" that must be addressed, get out of there as fast as you can and report either case to the authorities. There is no such thing as a curse! I feel dark energy every morning because I am not a morning person, but a cup of tea—no coffee for me, thanks—usually takes care of that! Scoff in the face of anyone trying to scare you into paying for their services and take your business elsewhere.
Spells, spells, spells
There are a lot of people who sell spells, and I don't have a problem with this as a rule. There are legitimate spell casters out there who do good work and are guided by the best intentions. But keep in mind that spells are meant to be positive in nature—“First, do no harm.” Be cautious if you go to a spell caster who promises to get back your ex-lover who's married with four kids—not only is this highly unlikely, but extremely unethical as well.
Don’t fall for guarantees that are impossible, exorbitant fees, or spells that are on-going (for instance, after each session, you are told that you need to do “just one more thing, then it will work.”). Finally, keep in mind that spells that are meant to destroy the will of another person are also unethical and would never be performed by a good spell caster.
Rules for Choosing the Right Psychic for You
If you feel uncomfortable or pressured at any time with a psychic or medium for money, money, and more money, leave.
Remember, there are millions of psychics and mediums practicing, and you have the right to consult and have proof of connection before you hire. Do not, however, take advantage of this by endlessly quizzing a legitimate psychic after proof of connection has been established.
Be honest and direct with any psychic you are consulting. Are you comfortable with their style? It is vital to immediately understand what is being said and to feel comfortable with the psychic’s personality. If not, be honest and tell them you aren’t a good fit and go elsewhere with your business. I happen to be very blunt, humorous, and at times, a wee bit vulgar, which my clients love, but if that isn't your style, you might want to consult with a psychic who has a somewhat softer touch.
Above all, remember it is your right to get exactly what you want, be it in a psychic or medium reading, which gives you total power when it comes to your reading. I do advise when having medium or psychic readings, if at all possible, you have a list of questions ready or have a general idea of what you want. This is important because it saves you time… and that means saving you money. It will also ensure that more of your concerns are addressed during the consultation.
Although not every psychic offers a follow-up, I ask all regular clients to please get back with me by e-mail in case they need to ask a few questions, vent, or just have someone to talk to after any session. In this way I can provide support when it is most needed or be a shoulder to lean on if necessary.
