Been Awhile; Upcoming Guest Daria Anne DiGiovanni!

Friday, April 1st, 2011

Okay.

Move is over, I’m settled in, and itching to get back on the airwaves; luckily for me, I have the delightful Daria Anne DiGiovanni guesting this coming Tuesday, April 5th, at 2pmEST right here:

http://bit.ly/hPlB3l

Daria DiGiovanni was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and raised in the nearby suburb of Media. The youngest of five children in a close-knit family, she earned a B.A. in English from Villanova University before relocating to South Florida at age 27. A passionate wordsmith from a very early age, DiGiovanni’s experience includes copywriting, website content, e-proposal and RFP writing, blogging and book editing. Her first novel, Water Signs: A Story of Love and Renewal, loosely chronicles her own 16-year spiritual and personal growth journey in a simultaneously heart-wrenching and uplifting tale of first love, family, second chances, forgiveness, gratitude and patriotism.

DiGiovanni has also appeared on numerous internet talk radio programs, as well as traditional AM channels. Thanks to her performances during these interviews, show hosts Premo Mondone, Stephen Rhodes and Steven Rosenblum invited her to assume regular co-hosting duties on their unique Blog Talk broadcasts – opportunities the author/activist happily accepted. Until recently, on the first and third Saturdays of  the month at 9 p.m. Eastern, she co-hosted Red State Town Hall with Premo Mondone,  and on Tuesday evenings at 9 p.m. Eastern, The Republican Temple with Stephen Rhodes.

Every Saturday at 6 p.m. DiGiovanni continues to co-host Conservative Republican Forum with Steven Rosenblum, which has received rave reviews from Parcbench.com. She also makes recurring visits to BTR programs Neidner’s Talk Show,  Freedom’s WingsThe Black Sphere , Patriot Action Live, The Fritch Show and Young Gun Conservative. And you can find her occasionally on Kevin Price’s excellent show, Price of Business on CBS Radio.

On January 7, 2010, DiGiovanni launched her own internet TV program called The Liberty Belle Hour on WAFS-TV. A high-energy combination of entertainment, insight and debate, the show features accomplished guests from a variety of fields including politics, pop culture, health and wellness, small-business and publishing. With the closure of the WAFS-TV studio at the end of June, 2010, DiGiovanni relocated The Liberty Belle Hour to Blog Talk Radio, where she now broadcasts every Thursday evening from 6-7 p.m. Eastern. The new show debuted on August 5, 2010 with Philly Sportsradio personality Steve Trevelise. And just as before, live chat is always open and calls are gratefully received!

In other news, Ms. DiGiovanni won the Book of the Week Award from Blurb! Talk Radio, competing with several other fiction writers for that coveted title. She appeared on Blurb! Talk Radio with Dr. Kent and Sally to discuss her book on July 15, 2009. Listen to the interview here.

On September 23, 2009, DiGiovanni addressed the Hawthorne Writers Group in Hawthorne, New Jersey. Watch the video of her presentation here.

Ms. DiGiovanni was also selected as one of twelve authors to participate in the Delray Beach Library’s Eleventh Annual Author’s Showcase, which took place on January 10, 2010. She appeared in a promotional piece prior to the event in the Boca Raton Forum, having been interviewed about her work by journalist, Marcie Shatzman.

She currently resides in Boca Raton, Florida.

On Psychically Correct, Suzanne and I are going to be fielding YOUR questions all show long, so don’t forget to call into (347)237-5339 to chat with us!

Have to cancel this weeks lineup, will be following hubby and our belongings on the road to my home state, Missouri; can’t resist the opportunity to get out of the Texas heat and live near a lake on several peaceful acres of land.

Hate to let Sarah Prout and Betsy Otter Thompson fans down, but life got in the way this time…

Will do my best to post asap after relocation!

Betsy Otter Thompson AND Sarah Prout are my Upcoming Guests!

Friday, March 18th, 2011

I want to be upfront and honest right now; I expect to be moving house soon, so hopefully I will be able to squeeze both these interviews in; if not I will try and re-schedule and certainly inform you if my plans change!

In addition to Walking Through Illusion (published by O-Books, an imprint of John Hunt Publishing Ltd), Betsy Otter Thompson is the author of The Mirror Theory (published by Hampton Roads Publishing) and 4 self-published books through her own company, Ascension Publishing. The self-published books are now at of print, but Betsy hopes to eventually get them on e-books.

Betsy’s work has always gravitated toward the media. A native Philadelphian with a B.F.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, Betsy worked as an account executive for WFIL radio in Philadelphia, and from there went to radio stations WPEN and WFLN. After that, she became a commercial print model and acted in television commercials in New York and Philadelphia. For seventeen years, she worked in Los Angeles at the motion picture and television company Castle Rock Entertainment as the Assistant to the Chairman and CEO. In August ‘99, she followed her boss to Warner Bros. as he took a new position there as President and COO, and became his Executive Assistant. She is now writing full time. Betsy’s writing began unexpectedly while going through an especially difficult time in her life. She believes that her books were the answer to her prayers.

No better way to introduce Sarah than through her own words:

I’m the author of THE POWER OF INFLUENCE (Wiley 2010) and it’s my true passion to teach people to live creative and vibrant lives. I’m in my element when I’m brainstorming, playing with words and working with Photoshop. I’m inspired by art, design and ornateness. I believe that we create our own reality with our thoughts and feelings. I also believe that people take themselves too seriously and there’s nothing better than laughing until your face hurts.

In 2008, I started SPROUT PUBLISHING and have since created 2 self-published titles (SPROUT the Life You Love + SPROUT WEALTH) featuring bestselling authors and A-list entrepreneurs such as ARIELLE FORD, Lipstick Queen POPPY KING and EMMY award-winner, RHONDA BRITTEN. My first print run of 9,000 books sold out with record online pre-sales.

My love of social media blossomed over time and I now have over 40,000 followers on Twitter. I believe that the social web is amazing as long as you are authentic and engage with other people. In fact, (laugh) I met the love of my life (Mr. Sean Patrick Simpson) on Twitter which proves that the online world is a wonderland of magnificent possibilities!

I love to work with online entrepreneurs to brainstorm new ideas, product development + creative methods to engage and connect to their target audience. For more info on working with me please click here. I’ve been fortunate enough to work with many amazing clients from around the globe. If you need motivation, inspiration and a fire lit under your butt to kick-ass then I’m your girl!

Pithy Poet Steven Curtis Lance and Astounding Astrologist Zoe Moon!

Sunday, February 6th, 2011

Bit late on posting; still valiantly battling a vicious cold, but the show must go on, and so it shall!

No doubt on this very blog you have seen Steven Curtis Lance’s poetry; I am so thrilled to welcome him to the show this Tuesday, 2/8 at 2pmEST; the link to listen to the show is:

Wednesday at 12pmEST, Suzanne and I are so thrilled to welcome the fabulous Astrologist Zoe Moon to the show; if you haven’t checked out her incredibly detailed FREE weekly forecasts, check it out here:

http://zoemoonastrology.blogspot.com/

Zoe also has her own amazing radio show, which you can catch every Thursday right here:

I might sound a little froggy on both shows this week, but I just cannot find it within me to cancel either show in light of these two incredible guests I’ve been looking forward to interviewing for so long; here’s hoping you can understand me…but much more importantly, them, when you join us Tuesday and Wednesday!

Incredible Lineup for Triple L and PC!

Saturday, January 15th, 2011

I am seriously looking forward to this coming weeks Lydia’s Literary Lowdown and Psychically Correct; we have truly amazing guests I can’t wait to learn more about!

Coming up on Lydia’s Literary Lowdown on Tuesday January 18th at 2pmEST-3pmEST is Literary Agent Jessica Sinsheimer of the Sarah Jane Freymann Literary Agency! The Sarah Jane Freymann Literary Agency has a strong commitment to serious self-help and spiritual books, with titles that have sold more than 100,000 copies in the U.S. and throughout Europe and Asia. At least five of the agency’s cookbook authors have won the prestigious Julia Child Award. The agency also has a strong affinity for narrative nonfiction, and represents world-renowned naturalists, award-winning journalists, and memoirists. They also represent books on lifestyle, illustration and design, many of which have become classics. Jessica says: “I wish I could take authors into the office—a sort of field trip, with free coffee and souvenir letter openers—so that you could see the kind of consideration we give everyone’s work. We read every query carefully, we discuss many of them, we consider a million factors that have nothing to do with whether or not you have what it takes to be a writer. Sometimes we have something too similar to your work; sometimes we just don’t feel we’re the very best agency, of the many, many agents out there, to champion this project. Have faith that we do this out of love of writing, and take our responsibility toward the future of books very seriously. We’re here not just to sell your work, but to make it—and you, as an author—all that you can be.”

On Wednesday, January 19th from 12pmEST-1pmEST, Suzanne and I are thrilled to welcome James Robinson to the show! After almost 30 years as an attorney helping clients in the legal and corporate world, James Robinson received the call to help others through healing and teaching. He has dedicated his life to teaching and healing all who are ready no matter where they may be. He has traveled to Europe, Asia, the Middle East and South America as well as helping people throughout the United States and Canada. James has studied with a number of great healers and teachers, currently studying with Derek O’Neill, a master living in Ireland. (See www.SQ-Worldwide.com). James is an ordained minister and spreads his message of hope, love and healing wherever he goes. James is certified in numerous healing systems, including Prema Agni Healing ™, Prema Birthing Healing ™, More Truth Will Set You Free Workshops ™, Rising Star Healing ™, Divine Intervention, Core Flush, Signature Cell Healing, Reiki (3d Degree Master), Ho’onoponopono, and others. There is no disease, illness, injury or life issue that cannot be healed, if the client is ready. By inviting the healing power of God and the universe, clients universally receive that which they need to heal their issues quickly, gently and easily. Whether it is broken bones, broken hearts, broken families or “incurable” disease, James has seen or helped it heal.

The link to listen to the Fascinating James Robinson is:

http://www.blogtalkradio.com/ggmradio/2011/01/19/psychically-correct-w-lydia-aswolf-and-suzanne-sor

I’ve also added James to my links here on the site; you can expect a few more blog posts here and there; though I’m working on my second book in a proposed series, and biting fake fingernails as the full manuscript of the first is in the hands of a top notch literary agent, I figure it’s going to get mighty boring to just see who’s on the show without a few more varied blog posts from yours truly. Still contributing over at VividLifeUk, but they’ve got a plethora of new contributors with fabulous stuff over there, which might cut down on how often I’m published!

Until next time…

This Week in Radio Show News

Monday, November 15th, 2010

Well, typical Monday; by that I mean I really should have posted this, oh….last week.

I just happen to be doing a two hour guest appearance on Spooky Nights Radio TONIGHT at 11pmEST-1amEST, if you happen to be awake, gimme a call after heading here: http://t.co/gv8DFHc to find me!

I am so excited for Tuesday’s 11/16 show; Storyteller Cathryn Wellner, a friend I made on twitter and one of the most wonderful women my psychic antennae has had the fortune to pick up on, will be my very special guest!

After one decade as a school librarian and another as a professional storyteller, California-born Cathryn Wellner found herself on a ranch in the middle of British Columbia’s Cariboo region. Although an urbanite by inclination and preference, she lived 30 miles from the nearest town and 300 miles from any major urban center. She soon learned how to midwife sheep, buck hay bales, and cook for a hungry crew.

While all of that was good story material, it did not pay the bills. So Wellner re-invented herself as a community development consultant. At first she did not have a clue what that meant, but one contract led to another. By the second contract, she realized that community development was about stories. Communities and organizations with stories that limited their options needed new stories.

Wellner’s reputation as a facilitator, project leader, and trainer became inseparable from her reputation as a storyteller. She led many successful projects, including the award-winning HEAL (Healthy Eating and Active Living in Northern British Columbia), a diabetes prevention program that takes a population health approach.

After a brief and satisfying stint as Storytelling Director for Stagebridge, an Oakland-based senior theater company, she returned to British Columbia to accept a position as food and health project manager for the Interior Health Authority.

A self-professed foodie, Wellner used a narrative-based approach to promote a healthier food culture throughout the region. She also taught storytelling skills and practice to health professionals, community organizers, educators, and social services workers.

All of this about Cathryn? Just gravy to me; she really IS one of the most spectacular human beings I’ve had the privilege to meet; considering I told one wife her husband needed to sit and spin on a cactus on air during my last guest appearance; that’s saying something.

This Wednesday, 11/17, we will be devoting Psychically Correct to taking YOUR questions; if you haven’t noticed yet (and a few of you have emailed me about it) the reason I’m not making “normal” posts other than guest appearances and radio show guests is because I’ve become a featured contributor to VividLife Uk; will try and remember to post links when a new article comes out.

Oh, and I’m also working on a new book; 80 pages in five days, and counting, so hopefully I’ll have some good news on that; my first crack at fiction!

Can’t neglect mentioning you can, and SHOULD find Cathryn on Twitter: @StoryRoute, and check her out on her own site: http://www.cathrynwellner.com/

Double Trouble; In with the New AND the Old!

Thursday, October 21st, 2010

I’ll be debuting Lydia’s Literary Lowdown on BlogTalkRadio this coming Tuesday, October 26th, at 2pmEST-3pmEST. My first guest, who I am truly honored to welcome, is author of Dream War, Stephen Prosapio, who, after reporting for one of the nation’s largest fantasy football websites, footballguys.com, wrote his first novel Dream War.

Competing against 2,676 novels, Dream War won a Top Five Finalist Aware in Gather.com’s 2007 First Chapters contest. Articles about Stephen have been featured in the San Diego Union Tribune, The North county times, Today’s Local News, San Diego Magazine, and the DePaul University Alumni Magazine.

Stephen is currently crafting a sequel to Ghosts of Redwood Asylum that chronicles the ongoing adventures of Zach Kalusky and the Xavier Paranormal Investigators.

You can find Stephen on Twitter, he’s @StephenProsapio, and on facebook:

http://www.facebook.com/pages/Stephen-Prosapio-novelist/395447967976

Or, you can just toddle on over to http://www.Prosapio.com

On Wednesday, October 27th, Suzanne and I will welcome “A Bridge to the Other Side” author and Medium Laura Evans to the show! Laura comes from a deep heritage of psychic women, dating back to her Great Grandmother, who was Ojibwe. Laura has dedicated herself to teach everyone to open themselves and communicate with spirit; she also provides readings and connections for people globally through her website: http://www.mediumlauraevans.com. You can also find Laura on Twitter: @MediumLauraE and on facebook:

http://www.facebook.com/mediumlaura.evans

As an aside; I am so thrilled to have been asked to be a featured contributor at VividLife Uk…I’ll be writing articles to be featured twice a month; these won’t appear until November, I believe, but if you haven’t checked out their site…do so. You’ll find out why I agreed to be a featured contributor due to the amazing content, the wonderful people, and the great atmosphere they have going on there!

The Divine Donna Stewart of PSI of Oregon and PSI Fi Talk Radio Guests!

Friday, October 8th, 2010

We are so thrilled to welcome Donna Stewart of PSI of Oregon and the terrific PSI FI Talk Radio show to Psychically Correct on October 13th! I was fortunate enough to make a guest appearance on her amazing PSI FI Talk Radio show, and developed an immediate fondness for her and her team, so it is with a great deal of fun we give her a warm welcome to the show. As the norm, we recommend you open one window to ggmradio.com to watch us broadcast live, while opening another window to listen to the broadcast and participate in live chat during the show. We will absolutely be welcoming callers; the caveat on this is that you must have questions for Donna only; remember, on October 20th, I’m all yours; will be taking your questions and throwing out answers. Just remember I don’t connect with everyone, and that’s part of my interest and overwhelming drive to showcase on the show. We psychics are real people, and we are by no means 100% correct…but that doesn’t mean we can’t be Psychically Correct! Read a bit more about the Divine Donna below, or visit her site on my site links located on the right hand side of my blog…and above all, have a great weekend, everyone!

Donna Stewart is the creator and host of PSI-FI Radio. She is also the Founder of the paranormal research team, PSI of Oregon. Regarding the paranormal in general, Donna’s interest began at the age of 7, after the death of her Grandfather. Today, Donna divides her time between PSI of Oregon and PSI-FI Radio, which she founded after finding it  difficult to find positive entertainment in the paranormal field.

Almost two years ago, after listening to a wide array of paranormal, and other types of online broadcasting, Donna, wanted something that did not focus on the negative, but, instead, something that would help bring the positive back into a field she has spent two decades researching. Through trial and error, growing pains, and a few changes, PSI-FI Radio remains an open forum for guests to speak their minds, promote their books, films and projects, without being attacked. With over 100 episodes under their belt, PSI-FI Radio remains a top rated featured show on Blogtalk Radio

Psychically Correct Welcomes the Magnificent Marie Benard

Thursday, September 23rd, 2010

Suzanne and I are so pleased to welcome the wonderful Marie Benard to the September 29th episode of Psychically Correct; Marie hosts Synchronicity: Talk Radio for Your Mind, Body and Soul — the #1 spirituality and wellness radio show airing weekly in Vancouver, BC and heard online in 60 countries around the world on CiTR 101.9 fm at the University of British Columbia.

Marie interviews a wide variety of guests covering topics that are related to spirituality and wellness. Some topics include health, wellness, spirituality, meditation, yoga, homeopathy, naturopaths, mind, metaphysics, new-age spirituality, energy healing, the law of attraction, consciousness, self-awareness, God or Source or the Universe, psychics, angels, prayer and other metaphysical topics. My view is that God is All-That-Is. To Marie, God is the Universal energy that runs through all things. We are all connected, and anything and everything you do is spiritual. We are spiritual, eternal beings having a brief physical experience.

Synchronicity radio is about enjoying the ride.

Marie also hosts Namaste Radio on Blog Talk Radio, and she co-hosts Illuminating Souls with Laurel Beladon-Maffei, a channel for the angelic realm.

One little treat we must mention is that we are going to be running a live video feed of Suzanne and I as we broadcast; best way to listen is to open a new window to this link: http://tobtr.com/s/1233133 which is where you can tune into the show; then open a new window at http://www.ggmradio.com so you can watch us as we have fun interviewing the fabulous Marie Benard!

Feel free to call in on topic; as the next show will be devoted solely to answering your questions and we want to be as respectful of Marie’s time as possible; you can also join us in interactive chat…but be aware I can’t type and talk at the same time, lol!

Psychically Correct September 23rd!

Thursday, September 16th, 2010

Hoo boy!

The premiere episode of Psychically Correct was a hilarious cluster, to put it mildly…if you heard microphones clanging, me fading in and out in between sounding like a hard rocker screaming into the microphone…well, I sure hope you enjoyed it. Too bad you missed the part where Suzanne threw a phone.

It was like a bomb countdown, to be honest.

Suzanne didn’t get into the system until two minutes before we aired.

Then we couldn’t get me in…until two SECONDS before we were on air.

I like to think I rolled with the punches really well; but when Marcello, Suzanne’s hubby, heard the show, he gave us a post game show worth listening to, if only for all the errors…we were doubled over in laughter, and I believe I’ve talked Suzanne into letting us use a webcam for upcoming show on the 23rd. We are going to up the ante because Marcello took pity on us and is going to serve as our producer; as he is bust-a-gut funny, it should make for quite the program, as he will be doing precisely what Suzanne attempted to do; learning live on the air.

I refuse to listen to the show again as I truly hate the sound of my voice; I’ve always found it very snobbish for some reason, but I know at least THIS time you will be able to SEE when Suzanne and I frantically change positions so we can tend to this thing or the other. Also gotta figure out how to NOT abruptly cut off the music.

Best bit about mistakes is learning from them…but the best bit for YOU, our listening audience is that now you will be able to watch us flub, ad lib madly, and look at one another in total bewilderment.

This upcoming show on the 23rd is going to be devoted to you, the listener. Call in, ask us a few questions, crack a few jokes our way, and above all, have a good time.

You can rest assured the three of us will sure as hell have a blast; why can’t you do the same?

Now I have a question: Do you remember where I put the godforsaken webcam?

Until the 23rd…hell, ON the 23rd, join us at 12pmEST at: http://tobtr.com/s/1209216

Wish us luck.

We’re gonna need it.
